Frozen in headlights While feeling wanderlust I'll never get signed I’m not serious enough There’s this one cool thing everybody does Your thoughts slip away into a vision And you do it one time Do it two times By the third time You’ve lost your mind Next thing you know you’re chasing antelopes And there’s a fire burning in the kitchen But the oven looks fine Pan still shines I’m still two bars away from completing this line Oh don’t you know Nobody sees this show How far can you go? Will you go? (Oh) Frozen in headlights While feeling wanderlust Never get signed I’m not serious enough The headlines Can’t make up this stuff Never get signed I’m not serious enough (One, two, three, four) What the what, a skunk in the parking lot Pretty sure he’s trying to kill me cause He did it one time Tried two times By the third time I was like agh One time somebody tried to ride a cow If you’re still there listen to this hoedown (I'm a banjo) (Yee-haw) But the charges were dropped I changed my life the day he decided to stop Oh I don’t know How the next part goes Mumble something, go (Oh) Frozen in headlights While feeling wanderlust Never get signed I’m not serious enough The headlines Can’t make up this stuff Never get signed I’m not serious enough (Epic penguin epic penguin) (Epic penguin epic penguin) (Epic penguin epic penguin) (Epic penguin epic penguin sharks) I'll never get signed I’m not serious enough Frozen in headlights While feeling wanderlust Never get signed I’m not serious enough The headlines Can’t make up this stuff Never get signed I’m not serious enough Frozen in headlights While feeling wanderlust Never get signed I’m not serious enough The headlines Can’t make up this stuff Never get signed I’m not serious enough I’m not serious enough I’m not serious enough

Wake up call in the middle of a dream Sat up tall but I can’t feel anything All the same like the way we play the game (Wake up call) Wake up call in the middle of the way 'Cause suddenly everybody’s married Suddenly there’s a million weddings Can’t believe this is really happening Somebody hit rewind Is it gonna be fine? Am I the only one who thinks it’s odd? And we’re too young for this I don’t think that my intention’s wrong With the matriarchy Standing in the hallway pounding on the door Take your motherhood and shove it down your throat I’m starting to wonder, “Are we too old for this?” Wake up call in the middle of the street Wake up call I don’t know what else to think 'Cause suddenly everybody’s pregnant Suddenly it’s a whole new family I believe I can still be happy Sitting at an incline Hanging with the felines Am I the only one who thinks it’s odd? And we’re too young for this I don’t think that my intention’s wrong With the patriarchy Standing in the hallway pounding on the door Take your fatherhood and shove it down your throat I’m starting to wonder, “Are we too old for this?” 'Cause Suddenly everybody’s married Suddenly there’s a million weddings Suddenly everybody’s pregnant Suddenly there are a million babies Suddenly we have careers and jobs and oh Suddenly I don’t know where it stops and no I can’t really be the only one Who skipped the factory line Gonna have to decline Am I the only one who thinks it’s odd? And we’re too young for this I don’t think my intention’s wrong With the matriarchy Standing in the hallway pounding on the door Take your motherhood and shove it down your throat I’m starting to wonder, "Are we too old for this?" Wake up call

Corrupt 03:22
Memorize your words And breathe my body Read the push and pull To breathe my body And corrupt and corrupt and corrupt And corrupt your soul And corrupt and corrupt and corrupt Over and over I’m the big bad wolf who blew too hard Cutting way too close To breathe my body Let your blood burn cold To breathe my body And corrupt and corrupt and corrupt And corrupt your soul And corrupt and corrupt and corrupt Over and over And nobody knows I should but “look away” I was never told (Breathe my body) (Breathe my body) So don’t smile anymore When your eyes tell me more Are we going anywhere? Interrupt this love affair Realize we are more And the lies we will mourn Drink our poison anywhere And we’ll live with what we bear But don’t smile anymore No don’t smile anymore Come indulge the pulse To breathe my body Rocking back and forth To breathe my body And corrupt and corrupt and corrupt and corrupt But don’t smile anymore No don’t smile anymore And corrupt we’re corrupt you’re corrupt we’re all corrupt No don’t smile anymore No don’t smile anymore No don’t smile anymore No don’t smile anymore

Backseat 04:29
You’d taken your time And I waited in line Tried to run but your legs kept giving out Now you’re falling behind And you’re lost in your mind Tried too hard for the fear of missing out Now you’re wasted by yourself Moving on to something else But the pulse is still pulling so much You can’t rationalize And you’re worried for yourself Holding on to nothing else But the night is too dark And you wanna feel somewhat alive Find yourself in the backseat again It’s starting to rise The suspicion and lies Trying to subtly suggest a way out And you ask yourself why That the time’s never right So you let it run and hope it figures itself out Now you’re wasted by yourself Moving on to something else But you’re way too far in And you can’t look yourself in the eye And you’re worried for yourself Holding on to nothing else But the night is too dark And you wanna feel somewhat alive Find yourself in the backseat again In the backseat again Don’t worry tonight If you just let me drive I’d make you feel alive Oh I’d arrive And make you feel alive Cause you’re wasted by yourself So move on to someone else And the hope that you want to feel soon Will materialize But you worry for yourself And deciding’s gone to hell So just trust in your gut And good luck with the rest of your life Find yourself in the backseat again In the backseat again

Nonsense 03:31
A worthless coma Stuck in a boring supernova A life’s worth run-on sentence Lacking a few bolts and screws All hope is lava Tiptoe around your paranoia Forget coming to your senses Walking in a herd feels good Oh, walking a herd feels good All this nonsense I hear it echo in the drums And it’s louder than an engine Strapped down to your tongue Strapped into your lungs Interesting to see how far we go And no one is resisting Cause walking in a herd feels good Oh, walking in a herd feels good All this nonsense I hear it echo in the drums And it’s louder than an engine Strapped down to your tongue Strapped into your lungs All this nonsense I hear it echo in the drums And it’s louder than an engine Strapped down to your tongue Strapped into your lungs Keep banging on the drums Keep banging on the drums Keep banging on the drums Oh darling just keep hitting those drums Whoa, oh All this nonsense I hear it echo in the drums And it’s louder than an engine Strapped down to your tongue Strapped into your lungs All this nonsense I hear it echo in the drums And it’s louder than an engine Strapped down to your tongue Strapped into your lungs A worthless coma Stuck in a boring supernova A life’s worth run-on sentence Walking in a herd feels good Oh, walking in a herd feels good

You hide, you run from who you are You fear you’ll form wrinkles on your thumb Why are you scared of showing aging? Have you not seen the elderly? Why would you stay young? Show wisdom, Just sit down You’ve seen everything Get discounts, Preferred seating On all travel fares In blacklight Your hair stands out from all the rest Go mental, batshit crazy No one really cares Why would you stay young? Time is irrelevant It’s inevitable It won’t be long Till you have lived it all Why are you scared of showing aging? Have you not seen the elderly? Why would you stay young? Show wisdom, Just sit down You’ve seen everything Get discounts, Preferred seating On all travel fares In blacklight Your hair stands out from all the rest Go mental, batshit crazy No one really cares Why would you stay young? Oh, why would you stay young? You hide you run from who you are OH!!!! Why would you stay young? Show wisdom, Just sit down You’ve seen everything Get discounts, Preferred seating On all travel fares In blacklight Your hair stands out from all the rest Oh, go mental, batshit crazy No one really cares Why would you stay young? Nostalgic 03:37
When I was pulled into the scene Curtains drew To a crowd of empty seats No one knew The shadow lying next to me Broken views In a grim reality Free fall from the highest towers Leave me with the finest flowers Suddenly it all goes static It’s time to get dramatic I watch as my soul is leaving Marinade in memories of seasons Measuring my life so tragic Time for feeling nostalgic When I thought I stood a chance Missed my cue So I did my song in dance Overdue To ease insecurities But the truth: They still live inside of me Yeah, yeah Free fall from the highest towers Leave me with the finest flowers Suddenly it all goes static It’s time to get dramatic I watch as my soul is leaving Marinade in memories of seasons Measuring my life so tragic Time for feeling nostalgic Oh, oh, oh Oh, oh, oh Oh, oh, oh Time for feeling nostalgic Here’s the countdown Final let down Keep the good parts Throw the rest out Here’s the last show Curtain is closed Take my script Throw it out the window Oh, oh, oh Oh, oh, oh Free fall from the highest towers Leave me with the finest flowers Suddenly it all goes static It’s time to get dramatic I watch as my soul is leaving Marinade in memories of seasons Measuring my life so tragic Time for feeling nostalgic Time for feeling nostalgic...

EPIC 03:55
Your life is lived Play the game until You face a bad hand dealt Meeting destined failure Know that you were Born for greatness Taught to Choose a path Write your script Your part determined The world was your stage The curtains close The light fills your eyes as You take your final breath A worthless coma and I can’t control it I felt so numb and I don’t deserve this You have it all until you’ve got nothing Start me over and I’ll learn to love again I feel myself when I’m alone I must be crazy I must be going mad (Echoing like all this nonsense) The cold turns minutes into long hours The love is dead while I’m planting flowers I won’t pretend to be a stranger If love grows old then Why would you stay young? I keep hanging on to words you said Keep them close but never close enough (Keep it together, no, keep it all together now) I feel as though I’m shattered and I’m picking up the pieces Fix me I’m not broken and then loving you decreases I can’t sit around I just won’t sit around Frozen in headlights While feeling wanderlust Are you serious enough? Lady penguins leave their babies Walk seventy miles all in order to survive Baby sharks will eat their babies Just to stay alive Oh, imagine them combined I feel myself again and I can start over and Curtain is closed Here’s my encore: (Breathe my body, Let me drive) (First enemies, Now friends) (Why would you stay young?) (Oh boy, oh girl) (How far can you go, will you go?) (Time for feeling nostalgic) (All this nonsense) Suddenly I wanna get married Suddenly I want a wedding Suddenly I wanna be pregnant Suddenly the clock is/keeps ticking

Epi(c)logue 00:40

about

"Epic Penguin Sharks" is about taking control of your identity and allowing yourself to break free from social conformities. The album satirizes people living in a modern society, and Tricia is not afraid to poke fun at herself for being one of those people.

The album explores a diverse range of emotions, from the heavy hitting single "Welcome to the System" to the Pop Rock anthem "Millennials" to the tragically helpless ballad "Backseat". Tricia's vocal versatility transcends genres and presents a rollercoaster ride of moods.
